Work Study as a resolution

 

Work-study is one solution for this overwork while increasing self-efficacy through communal labor/research and handling financial issues that meet common goals (Perna et al., 2009). Work-Study in STEM would be doing research. However, this research would be a team effort where the skills one attains through work will be transferable to academic labor (Lim et al., 2020; Marx & Wilson, 2020). As a result, students will develop career skills that will serve them now and later (Lim et al., 2020; Marx & Wilson, 2020). Work-study aids in the unmet need being met (Olbrecht et al., 2016)) and the attainment of career skills (Lim et al., 2020; Chu et al., 2021; Creed et al., 2019;2020) ;) which was The Federal Work-Study Programs' original purpose.
